Jarrik Ouburg (1975) studied architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich and the Dutch University of Technology in Delft.
His graduation project won the Archiprix International 2001.

From 2002-2003 he was a research fellow at the Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan.

He worked for internationally renowed offices like
E2A in Zürich, the Architecten Cie. in Amsterdam and
Toyo Ito Architects & Associates in Tokyo.

From 2004 to 2008 he worked as project leader at Xaveer de Geyter Architects and made key contributions to projects like the 1st prize winning competion for the new headquarters of the European Patent Office, a Hotel school in Brussels, housing projects in Amsterdam, The Hague and Paris, an urban plan for the citiy of Leuven, Belgium and a regional plan for the city of Nice, France.

Since 2008 Jarrik Ouburg has run his own architectural practice in Amsterdam and is a visiting lecturer at the TU Delft, the Design Academy Eindhoven and the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam.
